Here are just a few of the frequently answered questions about starting an Adept Cleaning Services franchise:
Q. Must I have previous knowledge of the commercial cleaning business?
A. No. The ADEPT Cleaning Services concept is unique and we have designed a Training Programme which will teach you our complete operating system.
Q. How long is the term of the Franchise Agreement?
A. The Franchise Agreement is initially for a term of five years and is renewable without further payment for a further five year period. Renewal will be on the terms applicable to new franchisees at that time.
Q. Can I sell my franchise business?
A. Yes, subject to certain conditions, one of which is that any purchaser must be approved by ADEPT Cleaning Services. A percentage of the sale price must also be paid to ADEPT Cleaning Services to cover the cost of training the new franchisee (see the Franchise Agreement for details).
Q. Can I borrow money for the purchase of my franchise?
A. This is dependent upon your individual circumstances. All of the major banks have a Franchise Department and are used to dealing with potential franchisees. We have submitted details of ADEPT Cleaning Services to all of these banks so that they will be fully aware of our particular franchise offer.
Q. What franchise territories are currently available?
A. We are seeking franchisees for territories in most major towns and cities. Initially, we are particularly keen to establish a number of franchises in the Midlands area so that these can be more easily supported from our Head Office in Tamworth.
Q. Is my franchise territory protected, and how is it established?
A. Our intention is to allocate only one franchisee to each franchise territory and this territory will be clearly defined by postcodes. The objective, so far as possible, is to equalise the number of potential clients (i.e. commercial businesses) within each franchise territory.
Q. Do I have to purchase everything from prescribed suppliers?
A. ADEPT Cleaning Services negotiates preferential buying rates with leading suppliers of cleaning materials and equipment. Franchisees are required to purchase only from these approved suppliers as they will benefit from the preferential rates and, even more importantly, can be assured of the quality of the products provided.
Q. Do my staff have to be trained by Adept Cleaning Services?
A. Your own initial training is included in the Franchise Package. Training or re-training of other senior staff by ADEPT Cleaning Services can be arranged if required but any such training would of course be chargeable to the franchisee.
